“You don’t have to change who you are, just change how you do things.” – Matt

Hi, I’m Matt. Thanks for visiting! I look forward to speaking at your next assembly or event. Whether it’s a motivational talk for your employees, an educational experience for your students, or a site visit to consult about accessibility, my goal is to share everything I can about my life and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

I was born with Multiple Pterygium Syndrome and related medical conditions such as arthrogryposis and scoliosis. None of it – not my 100 surgeries or even the amputation of my legs – stops me from living the best life possible. I just keep moving forward, pursuing dreams and goals, trying to live a more positive life.

For me, living a healthy and happy life is the name of the game. I’m grateful to be alive, clean and sober, at a time we can access any information known to humanity at the touch of a screen … or save up to experience a bucket list of dreams like flying anywhere to experience the world as it once was, and as it transforms into the future.

Contact me anytime with questions or invitations to speak, consult and educate on topics ranging from living with disabilities, to anti-bullying in schools, to making outdoor recreation accessible, to preventing and recovering from addictions.

“Remember, you don’t have to change who you are, you just have to change how you do it. I want to inspire you and people around you to change what it is you’re doing – just one thing at first, and then another, until you’re where you want to be.” – Matt
